1.6: Meet Tara
Elizabeth: I was woken up at 4am to labor pains.
Elizabeth: It's another girl! We named her Tara. She has my brown hair and her daddy's grey eyes. This will be our last child.
Elizabeth: Matt went into the living room to play the piano, but he is very happy to have Tara in our lives.
Elizabeth: A Leader of the Pack showed up on the lot, but left soon after. (
That sign is the ijPetaway sign that keeps strays off the lot.)
Elizabeth: Matt and I worked on some skills for work, but then he went to bed shortly after.
Elizabeth: I on the other hand was hungry, so I made some Omelets.
Elizabeth: Then I made sure to feed Tara and after that a diaper change.
Elizabeth: Susan comes home and gets to work on her homework right away.
Elizabeth: I bought an easel because Susan wanted one and I need another way to gain creativity so I'm not always doing the same hobby.
Elizabeth: While Susan took a brake from homework by watching a Movie I took Tara to get a bottle.
Elizabeth: Susan had a want to make friends with Elmer and she managed to do so after finishing the rest of her homework.
Elizabeth: She also called her other friend.
Elizabeth: While painting I had a Eureka moment and earned a creativity skill point faster then it would have taken otherwise.
Elizabeth: I then worked on Charisma and earned another point. One more and I will have Maxed the skill.
Elizabeth: Matt made sure to tend to the Orange tree and sell the fruit before it went dormant for the winter.
Elizabeth: He then went back to woking on gaining a cleaning skill for his next promotion.
Elizabeth: He is such a good daddy to Tara. He got her a bottle when I was busy.
Elizabeth: He went back to studying cleaning while I went back to paining.
Elizabeth: He then called one of the co-workers he had yet to make friends with.
Elizabeth: Susan came home from school and watched another movie before doing her homework.
Elizabeth: Matt had to call a co-worker that was feeling like he was no longer his friend and made best friends with her.
Elizabeth: The girls will have their birthday at the same time. Susan growing into a teen and Tara into a toddler.
Elizabeth: We got two cakes for the occasion.
Elizabeth: Matt had been changing Tara's diaper, so he was able to get her to the cake before Susan got to her cake.
Elizabeth: Now that she is a toddler we can teach her all her toddler skills. We will need to change her clothes and hair as well. I think I'll got to the store later to get more clothing choices so she isn't just in her sisters hand-me-downs.
Elizabeth: Next it is Susan's turn to grow into a teen.
Elizabeth: She grew up real well.
Elizabeth: She decided her aspiration would be Knowledge like Matt and I.
Elizabeth: She also had her two friends Hailey and Elmer grow up with her.
Elizabeth: Susan decided she wanted her Secondary aspiration to be Popularity.
Elizabeth: Susan had a grate childhood and it couldn't have been better. Her friends on the other hand seemed to have had a so-so child hood.
Elizabeth: I was proud when I heard Susan already decided on her Lifetime want. She wanted to become a Game Designer.
Elizabeth: I made a quick trip to the clothes store to grab some new outfits for Tara, even some for when she is a child and a teen. I then went straight home.
Elizabeth: I made sure Tara was wearing the clothes I got for her. We also finally had enough to get the toddler toys that we couldn't get when Susan was a toddler. We ran out of money for the activity table however.
Elizabeth: Susan was off to her first day of High School.
Elizabeth: With Matt at work I was left to care for Tara. I started her potty training as soon as I could.
Elizabeth: Susan had no luck finding a job in Gaming after school.
Elizabeth: While at work Matt forgot what the next step was to build a better mouse trap. He choice to connect the Dervosian wicket receptacle to the coupled power inverter and was given $10,000 for the patent when he was successful in creating the mouse detection system. Now all he had to do was get to work on the part that would trap the mouse.
Elizabeth: I called to chat with Carmen to see how everything was with her. I have others I should call as well so they don't think I just forgot them.
Elizabeth: Susan was in need of some fun badly and the computer broke after her failed job search. I joined her in playing Spore as I was in need of fun as well.
Elizabeth: For some reason Susan's grade was knocked down to a regular A. She got to work on her homework after we played the game for a bit.
Elizabeth: I went back to finish the painting I had started.
Elizabeth: Matt was promoted to Scholar and he brought home Ben again.
Elizabeth: It was so late however that they said their good-byes.
Elizabeth: Matt started teaching Tara how to walk after I was finished helping her on the potty. I started her potty training just before he got home so she still had a ways to go in her potty training.
Elizabeth: I then went to play some piano for creativity skill while Susan played some Spore. We also had a bit of work done on the house so we now have a fenced in yard and a back door. A few plants have been added to the yard as well. The pond now has some water plants.
Elizabeth: Susan then jumped some rope to gain some body skill and Fitness hobby enthusiasm.
Elizabeth: I started jumping rope as well, but I was able to do it much better then Susan. I even had a 'Eureka' moment and earned the skill point faster then normal.
That is it for this part.
